Sat upon a lustrous smile

As we basked in summers embrace

Where the trees and the stars meet the sky

(for what it’s worth every day after was stolen from me)

Rolling skies

Chase our world closer to the sun

But you pushed the thought from my mind

You promised me the end together

So count the stars

Before we fall asleep forever

(You let it slip away and its gone)

Sadly smiling

The world falls in around us

Softly with your arms around me

(Watching as the sun it meets the ocean)

(Extinguishing our lives)

(Red moons ignite the sky)

Our worst fear is bearing down

The breeze grasps at your hair

Our death is spelled out in fire

Whispered love and a sad smile

In the absence of sorrow

Your mind doesn’t grow

All that is love is the will to let go

Could I have saved her?
