Ferris wheel standing still

Empty carousel

My bright balloon has flown away

Piped so happily

As merry the merry-go-round

Went round and round

Cracker jacks and kewpie dolls

Laughing clowns were we

How hollow the laughter can sound

Silly clown, go on home

It’s over, can’t you tell?

He found another place to play
