Long, long ago I had a wishing doll

A raggedy-taggedy, little ol' scraggedy wishing doll

And every wish, I wish would be

I’d see two fleecy clouds caress

And they’d become a snow white party dress

For my wishing doll

And every rainbow way up there

Became a silver ribbon for the hair

Of my wishing doll

And then one day, one day there’d be

A party dress and ribbons just for me

For she had wished them all for me
