Upended - Howling Sycamore

I line up my nightmares against these walls

Like pulled rotten teeth on a plate

A circle is formed

An evil eye of sort

I stand in the middle as its dilated pupil

I’ll stare back into darkness this time around

I’m surrounded by ancient memories

Chocked by all the time I let slip away from me

My mouth forced open at the hourglass' bottom

While my feet nervously dig this soil

Stepping on lessons unlearned

In a horrifying spiral of power

That gets stronger the weaker I get

My name is screamed dozen times

It becomes a low guttural sermon

A thick veil of my own sadness corrupts the air

Images of previous lifetimes flickers in my mind

I let myself merge with the other side

I let the Hanged Man teach me how to see

I force my hands and feet to go backwards

I let myself to see upside down for once

I let my aura withered

In the same way the Spider changes his skin

I laugh at where I am at

I laugh at where I’m heading

I laugh for what I’m becoming

I cry my very first tears
