I went down and bought some cigarettes

Out of a vending machine

Along with the cigarettes came a pack of matches

With an magazine

It said «Unfold», so I did as it told

And I read it with an open mind

I decided to send for the booklet they gave

What the heck, I was wasting my time

It said «Free information with no obligation»

So I bought a stamp and licked the seal

Then I mailed it and bought me a meal

Well, a couple days later, I got my mail

And I found that my booklet arrived

I was curious to see what it said to me

So I opened it and got a surprise

They had a bill inside with a four-letter word

I think the word said «Sale»

I got so mad 'cause I’d been had

Before I pay them, I’ll go to jail
