The recollection booms

Burnt grass on the path

That I used to know

Underneath the decomposing corpse

Of a deer left behind in the snow

I’m soon to be just another body in a hole

You see I’ll never re-see what was experienced

Only thoughts changing yearly to stimulate delirium

Resulting in hysteria

Few breaths for a few movements

Stuck in a whirlwind of mindfulness

Eyes are glooming

Assuming the worst outcome

While his hands turn translucent

And his face turns numb

Wondering when the time will finally come

What is the mark of existence

When your whole life is resistance

Of the mark

Hiding in the dark

With your eyes closed

Ignoring the every remark

Your mind spewing words

I want to be one with the fucking birds

Stay flying when I’m smoking on these herbs

It’s all an illusion I tell myself

Dispersed objects on the dusty shelf

Counting the edges of a circle

Broken smile peripheral to a broken metacarpal

Losing focus to the purpose
