Those who run this world, their power lies within my mind.

My own ignorance is what gives them charge of my life.

It’s the religion, education, books filled with false information.

I’ve grown up in this system.

I’ve come to the decision

That I have been spoon-fed some lies.

And now it’s my determination to find mental liberation

And the freedom of my soul depends heavily on what I know.

So I won’t swallow these spoon-fed lies.

So I won’t tell if you won’t tell about the lies they teach.

The truth be known we understand they lie.

Learn all that you can.

Cause if not you’re a slave to the man,

And we censor ourselves when the books we leave on the shelf.
