Pale morning light, rising slowly

Soft yellow glow over the sea

Figures pass by, lost in the haze

Lavender ghosts welcome the day

Hovering sun stares through the sky

Bleaching the bones hollow and dry

Watching our lives, all that we’ve made

Like a soft breeze, shimmers and fades
