Just Wave & Nod -

Visiting hours are over

Crippled by the call of a one leaf clover

Never better than a buddy and i shouldn’t be here

Try to do good but i just interfere

Not knowing my own or my only chance

To make like a tree & leave like the plants

If at first glance i’m behaving odd

Don’t stop to chat, just wave & nod because.,.

I’m better off alone

I know it’s bad for my health, will i ever forgive myself?

Don’t mean to yell at you, who am i talkin' to?

There’s nobody left to act familiar for

Got the best seat in the house & i’m locking the door

Look toward the highway as if it were my friend

And think of all the people i will never hurt again

But even gravity is bringing me down.,

Holding me back, with my feet to the ground

And i hate goodbyes more than the girls and guys

I say them to and it’s no suprise
