Day In The City - The Lucksmiths

Tram ride through the city

Got my backpack on my lap

Got all the cars driving round like crazy

Got no plans cos I’m feeling lazy

Nice day in the city

My friend stops by on his bike

I ask him ‘How's your baby?'

He says ‘Getting bigger daily'

Feeling kind of hungry

But I don’t have very much money

So I go to Cafe Baloo’s

'Cos it’s very cheap and yummy

Now it’s late in the afternoon

And I decide to walk on home

Through the park that looks so pretty

When it’s sunny in the city
