Friends/Mistakes - The Infested

I’ve been friends with this guy for years

Got on great, no blood, no tears

Just beer and music and life on the road

One of my brothers so far from home

We were a unit, but now I’ve ruined it

But I was telling the whole truth you must believe it

So I made one mistake

Tricked and deceived by a so called mate

That evil bitch I still feel so much hate

Locked him away from his life and his mates

But I miss the days on tour, with a pocket of pills

I’m sure that you must feel the same?

But I miss the days on tour

With a bottle of Morgans

I’m sure you must feel the same?

Or maybe not

I don’t blame you for believing the lies

Some women have the power to hypnotize

But why abandon your friends for this?

This was my mistake, let me take the blame
