People come to see him from near and far

Lying underneath a big bright star

Mary and Joseph wonder what to do

They run away to Egypt for a year or two

Mama and daddy trying to find Jesus

They go to the church and ask all the preachers

Preachers and the teachers scratching their head

Can’t quite believe what the little boy said

This is Jesus

Messing with their mind, busting their tradition

Showing them a sign, He was on a mission

Talking about love, and dissing their religion

Come from up above, got a bigger vision

Now that’s a wedding party—what a party

Everybody laughing having fun

Wine ran out while the night was young

He kept the party going turned the water into wine

Everybody shouting and praising His name

Then they doubting pointing fingers of blame

Especially when He talked about forgiving their sin

They hung him on a cross and thought that was the end

But here comes Jesus

They rolled a big rock in front of His grave

But Jesus was never the kind to ever behave

Nobody ever thought He would be so bold

But Jesus got up and the stone just rolled
