Barely Survived - Red Panda

We’re waking up slowly.

It’s too early to talk.

The silence is calming my head.

We enter the car and begin the long drive.

We drive through the night just to make it on time

We are caught in the death of snow and it’s safe to say it’s cold.

We’ve been putting our lives on hold and the safest place is home.

We’re starting the downgrade.

It’s a treacherous hill.

I’m trying to not lose control.

I’m taking my time

We’ve reached the calm of the storm.

We’ve made it this time

But we barely survived.

We are caught in the death of snow
