Now there’s a whole lotta things

Going down around town

I don’t have the time to break it down

Who’s got ears to hear will hear

And who’s got eyes to see will see

Mister money makes the world go round

I’m living in a great big swimming pool

Where the rich man swim

And the poor men drown

And every time I see my brother

Lying in the gutter

It turns all my emotions upside down

It really drives me crazy

To see so many homeless people

Too many homeless, too many homeless

Too many homeless people

It cuts me like a knife to see a man and his wife

And their kids sleeping on the streets at night

It’s hard to understand why in this world

With so much land

People ain’t given a better choice

What ever happened to civilization

People need help it’s a crying shame

Right now I’m on my knees

Begging all you leaders please

Can’t you see it’s time to rearrange

It really drives me crazy

To see so many homeless people
