We were just young kids with a six pack

That a bad fake ID bought.

we were just dumb kids

Sittin’on the living room couch

with a 6 pack

hopin that we didn’t get caught

And when we did, my dad

sitting on the living room couch

had some good advice for me hoping that we didn’t get caught

He said Son, there’s a time and place

for just about everything

Next thing I know I’m packing up its called college

and headin on out of here.

And there’s empty pizza boxes

and one in the afternoon

Those were the best days of my life

I found my friends, myself, and my wife.

I had suck a good time those four years

that I stretched them into six.

Pat:

And I’d like to thank ole George’s Bar

I learned almost everything I know

for the the classes that I missed

Without ever gaining knowledge

I was searching for the meaning of life

When I saw her walk my way.

There was not doubt in my my mind

In college

That it wasn’t about a GPA

In college

Those were the best days of my life
