Paint all of the walls

In the colors of fire

For each Picture left with its eyes showing

Brings the chanting of the funeral choir

The marks appearing upon her cracked face

Show the presence of another

Fingers reaching out from the darkness

As the portrait sees itself becoming clearer

Mirror image

Of that which is

God in the eyes

Of the child

Halls of madness

Calling out

Three ropes hanging

From the stairwell

One and the same

Trapped in between

Two opposite worlds

Through red curtains

The left arm trembles

So begins the crossover
