Drowning - Mindshift

Since day one i´ve tried to fight this through, an endless war,

myself against it all.

But there is always something holding me back,

a wave of expectations pulling me down.

My mind speaks in silence when questions are asked, I cannot hear a sound

Deep down there’s no turning back, an everlasting path

forever, without an end.

Save me I’m drowning, there´s no hand to save me.

There´s no reason to fall down dead

Feels like someone is feeding on me, that everything I do

is all that is.

I´ve been driving this road for five thousand miles

all alone
