Somewhere lost between the doubt and insecurity

Lies the dreamer that resides inside me

Many chances taken, some wrong choices made

You live and learn, as they always say

All this contemplating;

Pondering in agony

Reflecting back upon what might have been

Give me back that moment

Let me move the Hands of Time

The choice again before me on the fated night

To relive that moment

Erase the fear that clouded up my mind

I wouldn’t make the same mistake this time

Not this time

Now I have come upon a crossroad

With this cross that I have carried for most of my life

Do I leave it behind — A fading memory?

Do I bear the burden — Lesson learned eternally?

I have reached this moment

Let me stop the Hands of Time

I need to contemplate, just for a little while

I never thought this moment

Would really come, yet now it’s here

There’s a choice that I must make

What do I fear?

Last night I had a dream, a moment lost to memory

That last time we were saying our goodbyes

This time I didn’t let go

This time I changed my mind

And I cursed reality when I awoke

Do you understand how much you amaze me?
