A long dark night

Restaurant sences and dark machines

A woman in the shadow and a man in a suit

A cut away shot of the avenue

So he stands by a rake as the camera pans accross

Then he checks his watch, cause he feels like time has stopped

There’s a street where he almost meet, this is the place

We come to the scene where we almost see her face

And the telephone rings

She swims in the lake, as the shadow on the wall in the final take

Cigarette smoke and somebody spoke

And the light goes up and the cinema’s closed
