I almost see my sister

In a face that’s by my side

Another face reminds me

Of a man I used to know

In one, to my surprise, I see myself

This is such a strange strange place

I watch a father swing his child

Around him in the park

The laughing boy is happy as can be

And witnessing the scene

Brings out a funny mood in me

I pray they’ll still be talking in his teens
