Even in the evening, there’s energy this evening

The firing squad will dance to the bloodletting

There’s been reinstating, the work begins first thing

But now their little mouths will laugh and sing to the bloodletting

The surgeon follows a system, the system follows the law

And every line that is drawn serves to breathe a vein

Bleed and drain and balance bad humours

And fill the potholes with gold

Every man woman and child, young and old

To their souls

Usher the brain away and take the memory

If we can make those scars normal

And turn those rats off the trade

The accountant can count the drops

The assessor can collect te clots

And if the guard can move the lobbyist can groove
