Stretched out on the ground

Too shaken to know what I’d seen

Came here through a door

That seemed too small for anything

As I looked to the side of me

The scene melted away

But hundreds were there to take its place

Brace for random shocks

In each day’s mad design

Crushed by extreme demands

On my body and my mind

As I looked up to the sky

Dreams melted away

How can I face another day?
