Life goes by so fast

A couple years back buddy passed in a car crash

He was on his way home from his girlfriend

Nice to know the last thing he did was see her before his world ended

I can’t comprehend that in a blink you’re gone

See I miss that dude, we used to be cool, shootin' hoops

Now I’m giving him an R.I.P.

And also a shout out to Chris, cuz I know he miss him even more

It’s so crazy man, and I usually don’t

But for him a tear dropped to the pavement fam

He didn’t even get to see twenty

Now we pushing twenty seven, thinking back, time is really racing man

All the experiences, all the fun, all the relentless

All the growing, all the learning, highs and lows, and hot records

That he never got to witness.

There is no denying

Just to be existing.

I was at a club one night 'bout to be blinded by the lights

Noticed this girl infront of me in the line.

Damn she was fine

Made me wish I wasn’t too shy to say hi.

What’s up?

She caught my eye and I realized, it was a good friend of mine

That I ain’t seen in a while, years, we hugged by the stands

She told me that before the night was over we’d have a dance

I’m meeting my peers, but I’ll catch up when I have the chance

Later on I saw her under the strobe lights again shakin' her ass

All by herself and I just passed

Too scared to approach her, and I thought that was that

Next week she went out with a blast.

Suicide

Tired of some BS from her past, when I heard the news it had me shooked so bad

Cuz I thought every thing was all good right

So now I regret not grabbing her hands

But how was I supposed to know that she would die?

Can’t predict that, so, until I can

I’m not taking anything for granted.
